Award XP to a whole event

After an event, give everyone who was there their experience points in one go. Larpinq ticks the characters who checked in, so no-shows are left out unless you tick them.

Award XP

  1. Open the event and choose Actions, then Award XP. Only game masters see this.
  2. Every character in the event is listed with their player and their check-in:
    • Checked in: ticked.
    • No-show: not ticked.
    • No check-in recorded: not ticked. Tick them yourself if they were there.
    • A character who already has an award for this event is not ticked, and the award is shown under their name.
  3. Fill in the XP for everyone ticked. The reason starts as "Attended" and the event's name; change it if you like.
  4. To give one character a different amount or reason, fill in their own XP or reason on their row.
  5. Choose Award XP. The dialog says how many awards were made, and which characters were skipped and why.

Each award records who made it and when. Larpinq fills this in itself: what a browser or script sends for these two fields is ignored, and changing an award later keeps the original values.

Correct or remove an award

Choose an award under a character's name to open it. Change the amount or reason there, or delete it. The character's XP is recalculated.

A second award for the same event

A character gets one award per event from this dialog. If you tick someone who already has one, the new award counts as an extra award and needs a reason, for example "Plot bonus". Without a reason it is skipped.
